Memorial weekend is coming to an end now, but today was a good day. Evan’s pink eye has totally cleared, and we were happy to celebrate with the rest of the world. We spent most of the day at the Tautphaus Park Zoo, and filled the rest of the day with other family fun events.

The plan for this afternoon was to go out with my wife after she got home from school. However, Evan got pink eye, so we were stuck at home. We made the best of it; nuzzled up on the couch we watched a movie together.

Potty training really is NO fun for anyone, but it has to be done. This morning when my son Evan woke up I immediately placed him on the potty. Evan's venture was a success; his father was proud!
